Properties of orange peel

After three minutes, to make sure that the bitterness is completely removed, place the boiled orange peels in a bowl, rinse them several times and finally drain them to remove all the excess water.

A concentrate of pure wellness
After completing the above steps, now all that remains is to combine the previously boiled orange peel cut into cubes; a chopped ginger; a little candy sugar and about 200 ml of water in a pan. Cook over high heat until small bubbles start to form in the pan; at this point, lower the heat and continue frying, stirring the mixture continuously with a spatula until it thickens.

Once the cooking is finished, we only have to put the orange peel preparation in a sterilised glass container with a reinforced seal, where we can keep it for two or three months.
This compound can be consumed not only as a quick and genuine snack, but also in cakes and biscuits or to flavour our drinking water.
