Place the ingredients for the dough in a bowl, mix until you obtain a smooth dough and leave to rest for 5-10 minutes.
In the meantime, peel the apples, cut them into slices that are not too thick/fine and remove the core.
Heat the oil and/or butter in a non-stick pan.
Dip the apple rings into the batter, drain them briefly and place them in the pan.
Turn them and brown them over medium heat, then drain them on kitchen paper and eat them with a sprinkling of cinnamon/sugar or icing sugar.
