The best way to store parsley
The first thing is to wash the parsley well, removing any leaves and stems that you see damaged or dry. Once washed, spread it on kitchen paper to dry.
Find a jar, preferably glass because it preserves food better, and fill it halfway with water. Next, place the parsley stems in the jar, just as if they were a bouquet of flowers. Cover the jar with a plastic bag used to freeze food, securing it with a rubber band around the neck of the jar.
Then, with scissors, make cuts on the ends of the plastic to allow air circulation. Now, the jar is ready to go in the refrigerator, in the bottle space in the door.
If space in the refrigerator is a problem, another option is to chop the parsley, put it in a jar and before closing it, put a sheet of absorbent paper between the lid and the jar.
Then, store it in the refrigerator, preferably upside down. Ready when you need it!
