It only takes a few steps and with orange and lemon peels you can create a winning mixture for household cleaning. In addition to citrus zest, get:
- water, 500 ml
- white wine vinegar, 2 tablespoons
- airtight glass container
- Bottle with spray nozzle, emptied and cleaned.
Fill the container with a handful of orange and/or lemon zest, add vinegar and water, then screw on the cap and let sit for at least 3 days in a cool, dry place.
After this time, filter the liquid, add a few drops of essential oil to taste, if you have any. The latter ingredient is simply used to scent the detergent, but it does not have a cleaning function. If you prefer, you can also add a teaspoon of liquid Marseille soap.
Transfer everything into the bottle and spray and use it to disinfect the bathroom, kitchen, tiles, hob, lacquered furniture. In short, you will have ecological, anti-waste and economical laundry detergent that respects the planet and your wallet!
