Salt to Vinegar Alternative: Salt and Baking Soda

A valid alternative  can be to use coarse salt and baking soda,  which together form a lot of foam that dissolves all the debris stuck in the drain pipe for months or even years. Especially in the dish sink, generally in the drain, you will find everything because when you wash the dishes, you pay little attention to what ends up inside.

For a particularly stinky discharge,  the following mixture may come back. Mix 5 tablespoons of coarse salt and 5 of bicarbonate, add 200 ml of hot water. Then the substance must be poured directly into the drain being  careful not to burn  since being an acidic mixture, as well as hot it can damage the skin. It is recommended to use a pair of gloves.

Cleaning the sink with detergents, useful tips

After a few minutes  you can use the plunger  which, together with the hot water, will remove anything stuck. To clean the sink then in the end you can simply use lukewarm water and detergent,  the one you use to wash the dishes is also fine, ecological.

The advice is to say goodbye to the  usual harmful detergents  , dangerous for the environment, for human health and for the sink or sanitary facilities. In particular, some materials can be seriously damaged as soon as they come into contact with certain detergents, so great care must be taken.
