The trick of ice cubes in the dryer
If we think about ice cubes, the last thought that may come to mind is using them in the dryer. The appliance that guarantees drying clothes quickly, in our opinion, cannot be compared to ice, which will recover its liquid state in a few minutes.
But here’s the trick.
Once you have placed some ice cubes along with the clothes to dry in the dryer, when you turn on the device the heat will cause the ice to evaporate. The steam produced by the cubes will be distributed throughout the drying process, since the ice will take time to melt completely. If you think about it, it is almost banal, since it is the same principle that is applied with the iron in case of wrinkles. Steam is the solution. In the case of the iron, the action is specific and acts on each fold, while in the dryer the steam will be distributed evenly, leaving the garments softer and without the need for subsequent ironing.
