With citric acid
The first way to use the bag method is definitely citric acid!

This product is renowned for its anti-limescale power and it is no coincidence that it is also used to clean the shower or the entire bathroom in general.

All you have to do is dissolve 150 grams of citric acid in 1 liter of water until you get a single solution.

Next, fill the plastic bag halfway with the solution, secure it near the faucet with a rubber band, making sure the filter is completely submerged in the liquid compound.

Wait a few hours, then remove the bag and that’s it!

Lemon juice
Besides citric acid, lemon is also a great solution to get rid of limescale!

You will have to follow the procedure described above, but inside the bag with water you will have to put the juice of 2 lemons.

Always tie the bag carefully making sure the filter is in the water and lemon solution and leave for at least 4 hours.

Then remove the bag and remove any remaining dirt with a sponge.

White vinegar
White vinegar could not be missing from our call, a perfect remedy against limescale!

Always fill the bag with lukewarm water and pour 1 and a half glass of vinegar inside , then always attach it to the tap.

Wait about 3 hours, then you can remove and enjoy the fantastic result with the filter completely clean!

Did you know? A very similar method is also used to clean the shower head!

Bicarbonate de sodium
As a last resort, let’s use baking soda , grandma’s timeless tip!

3 tablespoons of this natural element in the sachet with lukewarm water will be enough to achieve a fantastic result.

You will need to leave it to act for 3/4 hours so that the abrasive action of the baking soda can remove all the limescale.

When you remove the bag, rinse thoroughly and dry with a microfiber cloth.

Warnings
I remind you to use the remedies described above in a hidden corner to ensure you do not damage or stain the items.
