Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-×-5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt stir into butter mixture until smooth. Finally, stir in the sour cream, nuts, and bananas. Divide evenly into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before placing it on a wire rack to cool completely.
