Midges in the bathroom
It happens very often that you find midges in your house. Whether it’s fruit season or not, these tend to stay with us for weeks or even months and seem truly impossible to chase away. Obviously, simple midges do not represent a real danger to humans , but if we consider that they can land on our food, they may not be so healthy. So let’s see how to keep them away from their favorite place in the house, the bathroom.

Bathroom midges
The midges that tend to nest in our bathrooms are very easy to recognize. Compared to other specimens of their species, they have a slightly chubbier body and compact round wings. From a distance and at first glance, they are very often confused with small spiders . In fact, these gnats are commonly referred to as drain or toilet gnats, as this is where they prefer to lay their eggs. Indeed, toilet gnats prefer more humid environments because they are rich in organic residues which are very valuable to them .

As already mentioned, they are completely harmless insects for humans .

Eliminate gnats from the bathroom
However, their presence is associated with poor environmental hygiene because these little beings are real carriers of bacteria. It is for this reason that it is important to eliminate them from our bathroom, possibly without using chemicals, which are also harmful to us.
