Why do you have to put toothpaste on the kitchen knife?

  1. On both sides of the clean knife,  spread a small amount of toothpaste  ;
  2. Then, rub the blade with toothpaste using the paper towel. Be careful with your hand though, we don’t want it to hurt you.
  3. At the same time, turn the bowl upside down , sprinkling a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of white vinegar around the edge . This mixture will create a chemical reaction that will make the sharpening operation of your blade more efficient;
  4. File the edge of the knife in one direction only at a 20 degree sharpening angle . Warning: do not go back and forth unnecessarily. Repeat the same operation on the other side to sharpen both sides of the blade;
  5. And that’s it, the sharpening operation is almost complete! Rinse the knife with clean water with the help of a dish brush. This way, you will extend the life of your favorite knives and save time and efficiency in the kitchen. Who can top it?
