Baking soda
Perfect for removing stains, deodorizing and disinfecting, baking soda or sodium bicarbonate is the ideal product. It is the multi-purpose ingredient par excellence since it allows you to clean all surfaces in the house. To use it, sprinkle a sufficient quantity of this white powder on the area to be treated or on the entire mattress and leave the product to act for 1 hour. Once this time has elapsed, brush the entire surface with a soft-bristled brush to dislodge the dust mites from the mattress using circular movements. Then vacuum the entire mattress to remove dust, mites and also baking soda residue. For greater efficiency and if you have the possibility, take the mattress out in the sun and sprinkle it with baking soda. The sun and the white powder will work better to exterminate bacteria as well as small critters that invade your mattress. Finally, use the vacuum cleaner to remove excess baking soda.

Another way to proceed is to mix 250 g of baking soda with 5 drops of tea tree essential oil and sprinkle this mixture that you have sifted on the mattress. After an hour, vacuum and proceed in the same way on the other side of the mattress.
