I was surprised when the plumber lit a match and threw it into my toilet. But the method has been shown to be effective
The plumber explained that a lit match is an effective remedy against odours in toilets. The secret lies in the properties of sulphur, contained at the end of each match. It effectively removes various odors, including toilet fragrances.
To use this method, simply turn on a match and throw it in the toilet. Sulphur will begin to evaporate, neutralising unpleasant odours and leaving the bathroom cool and clean.
I can now handle odours without harmful chemicals, thanks to a simple lit match. Remember, however, to take precautions when working with the fire and make sure that there are no flammable cleaning products in the toilet.
