Scalloped Potatoes are an easy classic recipe, perfect for your Easter dinner, Christmas, Thanksgiving or even just for Sunday dinner.

Whisk in the entire carton of chilled milk.
Add salt and cayenne to taste.
Whisk the sauce occasionally while it cooks over low heat until it thickens and reaches boiling point.
Stir in the cheese after reducing the heat.
In a lightly oiled one-quart casserole dish, lay half of the sliced potatoes.
Transfer half of the cheese sauce to the potatoes.
Put the second layer of cheese sauce and potatoes on top of the first.
Add the rest of the cheese.
Add a little paprika on top for color.
Remove foil and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately one hour.
