Here’s what you need to do if you have a rootless orchid

If you have an orchid with rotten roots, it is better to cut them off than to leave them there.  To do this, you must first remove the orchid from the pot and cut off all the rotten roots with scissors  . In case you need to remove them all, do not worry and do it. There is actually a way to regrow completely healthy roots and now we will see it.

Once you have completely cut off your roots, remove all the branches as well and cut the base where the roots are well attached  . At this point you can pour turmeric or cinnamon over it to disinfect the area and prevent mold from forming.

Cutting orchid roots - lazy -

You will go further to carry out the procedure than what is usually done.  Usually the roots are poured in water, but this time we will pour the leaves in water  . Just take a glass that is absolutely transparent because it must let light through and put the leaves in it with about 4 or 5 cm of water. To avoid dropping the root, just help yourself with a toothpick.
