WHY MOSQUITOES INFEST HOMES

In summer, it is really difficult not to have to deal with insects of different nature. Among them, gnats stand out, attracted by humid environments. Mosquitoes, especially in hot weather, can invade our homes for a number of reasons. First of all, if you leave uncovered food lying around, maybe rotting. This happens mostly in the kitchen, where people eat and where there is organic waste.

Another cause could be standing water, where mosquitoes breed. The accumulated water can be deposited, for example, on the saucers or under the pots, but also in the sinks. The same can happen if there are decaying plants: dead leaves and plants can, in fact, attract mosquitoes.

Clogged drains or appliance drains can lead to stagnant water, which, as we’ve said, attracts mosquitoes.
