Bicarbonate

Bicarbonate of soda is always mentioned among the most effective methods for cleaning floor joints. Applying this method is very simple: create a solution with a creamy consistency by mixing baking soda and water, then use a hard sponge to rub it between the joints. Remove with a clean cloth, then rinse with plenty of water.

Hydrogen peroxide

As bizarre as it may seem, hydrogen peroxide is also a great help in cleaning and whitening grout. Simply pour a little hydrogen peroxide between the joints and clean with a sponge or toothbrush.

White vinegar

Probably the most effective natural product for cleaning grout, white vinegar also has antibacterial properties capable of disinfecting them. In this case you have two options. The first is to dip a toothbrush in vinegar and clean the joints. Or mix two equal parts of baking soda and water and spray the solution between the joints. In both cases, let it act for 10 minutes before rinsing.

In all cases, a little patience is required, especially if the joints are very dirty . Remember that after cleaning the joints, you need to wash the floor to make sure you have removed all residues.
