Material needed to make the foam:

Spray bottle (optional)
Glass jar with lid for storage
Protective gloves
Mop or brush for application

Preparation:

In a container, add 200 ml of water.
Add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and mix well until completely dissolved.
Add 4 tablespoons of sugar and mix.
Add 100 ml of detergent to the mixture and shake gently until all the ingredients are well combined.

Activating the foam:

In a second container, add 4 heaped tablespoons of caustic soda to 200 ml of water. Mix carefully and leave to stand for 5 to 10 minutes until the solution becomes transparent.
Carefully and always wearing gloves, pour the caustic soda solution into the basic mixture prepared earlier.
Stir gently until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Storage:

Transfer the magic foam to a glass jar with a lid. It is important to use glass to avoid chemical reactions with the container.

Directions for use:

Application: Apply the foam directly to the surface to be cleaned, either with a spray bottle, a hose or a brush. You can apply it to pots, pans and ovens that are dry and have difficult grease residues.
Action: Leave the foam on for a few minutes. You will notice that it begins to foam and soften the grease.
Removal: After 5 minutes, scrub the surface with a scouring pad or brush. If necessary, repeat the process until all the grease has been removed.
Rinse: Finally, rinse the surface thoroughly with water to remove any residue from the magic foam.
