The secret to treating burns with aloe vera right at home

Many people choose to use aloe vera to treat burns at home for minor burns because it is both safe and cost-effective. But do you know how to prepare and do it properly? Here is the answer for you.

Necessary ingredients

  • Fresh, clean aloe vera, 1 large branch, guaranteed to be clean
  • Salt
  • Clean filter cloth
  • 1 to 2 fresh lemons

Preparing aloe vera is also very simple

Perform simple preliminary processing

After preparing the ingredients, you can simply do the following:

  • Wash aloe vera thoroughly with water. Then soak in salt water to remove bacteria and dirt around the surface of the aloe vera
  • Next, remove the outer green bark, including the thorns on the leaf edges. Just take the flesh and aloe vera gel inside.
  • Soak aloe vera gel in 1 part diluted salt water and lemon juice to remove substances that cause itching, and also remove part of the bacteria in it. The aloe vera soaking process will take about 20 minutes
  • Wash the prepared aloe vera flesh with water and drain
  • Use a blender to puree the aloe vera flesh into a thick, homogeneous mixture.
  • Use a thin, clean cloth to filter out the foam when blending before you can use it.
  • Store in a clean glass jar, then keep in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.
