Bicarbonate of soda is a valid ally for cleaning mud pigeons
We use it to wash food and disinfect it, to soften food so that it cooks faster, to descale dirty pots and pans, and to remove dirt from pans and pots.
And precisely because of this, baking soda is one of the few products that can make clay pigeons look like new again. Simply prepare a thick paste by mixing baking soda with water and spreading it on the worktop. It is important not to cover the gas holes, otherwise it will not relight until it dries thoroughly. Then use a sponge to clean the encrusted parts and they will gradually become clean and shiny again.
Yellow soap and Marseille soap together, an explosive mix
Marseille soap can be mixed with baking soda, a tablespoon of both products is enough to make a foamy paste that can be spread on the sponge, on the burners and on the dishes.
Yellow soap, usually used in the washing machine, can also be used in the kitchen in small quantities. It is spread on a sponge, then wiped over the burners and finally rinsed off thoroughly.
