Step 2: Door Seal Cleaning
With a damp microfiber cloth or sponge, meticulously clean the rubber seal around the door, a common area for mold and residue accumulation.
Step 3: Vinegar Cleaning Solution
Create a solution by mixing equal parts distilled white vinegar and warm water in a bowl. This mixture will be used for cleaning detergent drawers and other accessible parts.
Step 4: Detoxify Detergent Compartments
Detach the detergent and fabric softener compartments, submerging them in the vinegar solution to loosen any buildup. Scrub thoroughly to ensure all residues are removed.
Step 5: Drum Care
Pour approximately 2 cups of distilled white vinegar directly into the washing machine drum. Use a cloth or sponge soaked in vinegar to wipe the inside of the drum, focusing on any stains or deposits.
