Ingredients

One cup whole milk.

One teaspoon unflavored gelatin

1 teaspoon optional vanilla extract (for taste)

One should get ready the gelatin by:

Add one spoonful of unflavored gelatin to two teaspoons of cold water in a small dish. Let it rest until it blooms—absorbs the water and becomes gelatinous—a few minutes.

2. Simmer the milk gently.

Pour one cup of whole milk into a little saucepan set on medium-low heat. Just reheat it enough to be hot to the touch but not scorching; do not let it boil.

3. Mix milk with gelatin.

Once the milk is heated, take it from the stove mix gelatin into it. Add the bloomed gelatin until the milk completely melts it.

4. Chill the combination:

Pour the milk and gelatin mixture into a mixing dish then let it chill in the refrigerator for around ten minutes. The concoction should be cool but not quite set.

5. Beat the cream.

After the mixture cools, quickly whirl it on high speed in an electric mixer. Whisk until soft peaks develop and the mixture resembles whipped cream, five to seven minutes.
