What you will need:
Half a liter of water
200 cl lemon juice
4 tablespoons baking soda
250 cl white vinegar
Instructions
In a bowl, mix white vinegar, water and lemon juice. Stir this mixture well and soak a microfiber cloth in it, then apply the solution to the traces of mold without rubbing, so as not to encourage the spread of the spores and thus aggravate the situation. Leave for 20 minutes and then rinse with clean water before moving on to the next step.
Now that you have been able to disinfect the surface with lemon and vinegar, apply a paste of baking soda that you compose with a cup of this white powder and a little water. Use a stiff-bristled toothbrush to scrub dirty areas, including tile joints and corners. Then leave for 1 hour.

You just have to rinse the treated surfaces without neglecting the other washable areas. To do this, spray hot water to eliminate residues and then let the surfaces dry. It should be noted that it is best to ventilate the room if you have a window or consider a dehumidifier. Do not hesitate to repeat the anti-mold operation if you consider it necessary.

Whether fabric or plastic shower curtains, they are not spared from the consequences of moisture. In this case, you will need to include your washing machine in the cleaning process. To do this, place your shower curtains in the washing machine and turn on the gentle cycle. During the wash cycle, pour a mixture of baking soda and homemade laundry detergent into the detergent drawer and then add a little white vinegar during the rinse cycle. How to prevent the appearance of mold in the bathroom?
Since mold is the result of moisture, it is best to dry the tiles, shower curtain and shower enclosure after use. As mentioned above, ventilation also allows the hot fumes to be dissipated instead of letting them float in the air of the room and thus affect the surfaces. This way you guarantee easier air circulation. You can also dry these surfaces with a microfiber cloth to remove excess moisture.
