Instructions for Making Clove Cream

1.Prepare the Base:

In a double boiler, gently melt the shea butter and coconut oil together until they are completely liquid. If you don’t have a double boiler, you can use a glass bowl set over a pot of simmering water.

2.Add the Almond Oil and Ground Cloves:

Remove the mixture from heat and stir in the almond oil and ground cloves. Mix thoroughly to ensure the cloves are evenly distributed throughout the oil.

3.Cool and Whip:

Allow the mixture to cool slightly. When it begins to solidify but is still somewhat soft, use an electric mixer to whip the cream for several minutes until it is light and fluffy.

4.Add Vitamin E Oil:

If using, add the vitamin E oil during the final minute of whipping. This will help to preserve the cream and add extra antioxidant benefits.

5.Store:

Transfer the cream to a clean jar with a lid. Store it in a cool, dry place.

Using Your Clove Cream

Apply a small amount of clove cream to your face and neck after cleansing, preferably in the evening. Massage it gently into the skin in upward, circular motions. The natural ingredients and the warming scent of cloves make this cream not only beneficial for skin health but also a pleasure to use as part of your nightly routine.
