- Prepare the Ingredients:
- Shred the cooked chicken breast.
- Mix the chicken with marinara sauce in a small bowl.
- Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning if desired.
- Assemble the Sandwich:
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice of mozzarella cheese on the unbuttered side of one bread slice.
- Spread the chicken and marinara mixture over the cheese.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Add the second slice of mozzarella cheese.
- Close the sandwich with the other slice of bread, buttered side up.
