Cinnamon Roll French Toast

If using store-bought cinnamon rolls, cut each cinnamon roll into thick slices, about 1-inch thick. If using homemade cinnamon rolls, slice them into thick slices after they have cooled completely.
In a shallow dish or bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a pat of butter to melt.
Dip each cinnamon roll slice into the egg mixture, coating both sides evenly.
Place the coated cinnamon roll slices onto the hot skillet or griddle. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Repeat with the remaining cinnamon roll slices, adding more butter to the skillet or griddle as needed.
Once all the slices are cooked, transfer them to serving plates.
Drizzle the Cinnamon Roll French Toast with maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar.
Serve immediately and enjoy the deliciously sweet and indulgent treat!
