For the Cake:
1 box of white cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box to make the cake)
1 package (3 oz) raspberry gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
For the Topping:
1 cup shredded coconut, toasted if preferred
1 cup fresh raspberries
1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
Instructions:
Step 1: Bake the Cake
Prepare and Bake: Follow the instructions on the cake mix box to bake the cake. Use the recommended pan size for a single layer.
Cool: Allow the cake to cool slightly on a wire rack after baking.
Step 2: Prepare Raspberry Gelatin
Dissolve Gelatin: In a medium bowl, mix the raspberry gelatin with 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved. Then, add 1/2 cup of cold water and mix well.
