Homemade Spaghetti

– Heat **1 tbsp of olive oil** in a large skillet or pan over medium heat.
– Add the **ground beef** and cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking the meat into small crumbles as it browns.
– Once the beef is no longer pink, add the **diced onion** and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
– Stir in the **Italian seasoning**, **garlic powder**, **salt**, and **pepper**. Cook for another minute to let the spices bloom and enhance the flavor of the beef.
– Pour in the **marinara or spaghetti sauce**, reduce the heat to low, and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally to blend the flavors.
– If desired, stir in **grated Parmesan cheese** for extra richness.

**2. Cooking the Spaghetti:**

– While the sauce is simmering, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
– Add the **spaghetti** and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes, until al dente (tender but still firm).
– Drain the pasta and toss it with **1 tbsp of olive oil** if desired, to prevent sticking.
