Even though they might not look very nice, you can hang sticky strips from your houseplants to catch and get rid of gnats. When putting up or moving the strips, be cautious! They are very adhesive and can stick to more than just the gnats. If you have pets or young children and are using this technique, make sure to place the plants where they cannot reach them.
3. Don't water too much.
Giving house plants too much water prevents the soil from drying out, which can lead to more fungus and bacteria near the plant. These are ideal places for gnats, so be careful not to water plants too much to prevent them.
