Another easy way to keep gnats away from your indoor plants is to regularly remove any dead or dying leaves. Gnats like to be around rotting stuff, so getting rid of dead leaves is an easy way to keep them from coming near.

5. Homemade Trap

This homemade trap for gnats and fruit flies is simple to create and works really well. Put some apple cider vinegar and a little bit of liquid dish soap in a shallow bowl. Put plastic wrap on the top and make holes in it. The small flying bugs will be attracted to the bowl by the smell, but won't be able to get out. You will be surprised by how fast and how many small flying insects this trap will catch!

6. Cleaning on a regular basis.

As mentioned before, small flying insects are also drawn to sink drains, trash cans, and garbage disposals. Cleaning these areas often with a mix of water and bleach will prevent gnats from sticking around.

If you have tiny flying insects in your home, these easy and very effective tips can help you solve the issue. Best of luck!
