For the taco meat:
1 pound lean ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pack of taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup water
Salt and pepper to taste
Additional Ingredients:
1 jar (16 ounces) salsa (choose your preferred heat level)
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15-ounce) can corn kernels, drained
8-10 small flour tortillas
2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend (cheddar, Monterey Jack, etc.)
Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, sliced olives, chopped cilantro, sour cream, avocado slices
