1. Soak in Vinegar
Components:
One cup of apple cider vinegar or white vinegar
two cups heated water
A dish or basin big enough to soak your hands or feet
Guidelines:
To prepare the soak, combine one cup vinegar and two cups warm water in a basin. To completely immerse your nails, add more solution, but don’t change the vinegar to water ratio from 1:2.
Soak Your Nails: Let the vinegar solution sit on the afflicted nails for a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes. The warm water aids in softening the skin and nails so that the vinegar can penetrate more successfully.
Rinse and Dry: After giving your nails a good soak, give them a thorough towel dry. It’s critical to thoroughly dry the nails because moisture can encourage the growth of fungi.
Repeat Often: Until the illness goes away, try this bath once or twice a day for optimal effects. Several weeks may pass, depending on how serious the fungus is.
