1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Pasta:
8 oz fettuccine or any pasta of your choice
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Kitchen Equipment Needed
Large skillet for cooking the shrimp and steak
Medium-sized saucepan for making the Alfredo sauce
Pot for boiling the pasta
Strainer for draining the pasta
Tongs or spatula for stirring the meat and pasta
Directions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
Drain the pasta and set it aside. You can toss the pasta in a little olive oil to prevent it from sticking together while you prepare the rest of the dish.
Step 2: Prepare the Cajun Shrimp
In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper until they are evenly coated.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Cook the Steak
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil if needed and bring it back to medium-high heat.
Season the steak strips with salt and pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Once cooked, remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
