Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Cabbage
Remove any outer leaves from the cabbage and trim the stem end. Slice the cabbage into thick steaks, about 1 inch in thickness. Place the cabbage steaks on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 3: Season the Steaks
Drizzle olive oil over the cabbage steaks and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Use your hands to rub the oil and seasonings evenly over the surface of the cabbage.
