Add 20 grams of olive oil and knead the dough until it is soft but not hard.
Remove the dough from the bowl and knead on a lightly floured surface for 3-4 minutes until smooth.
Form the dough into a ball.
First Rising:
Grease a bowl with a little vegetable oil and place the dough ball inside.
Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for 30 minutes.
Prepare the Dough for Baking:
After 30 minutes, remove the excess gases from the dough by pressing it down.
Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and form each part into a ball.
Roll each ball out to the width of a small plate.
Add the Cheese:
Place 50 grams of grated mozzarella or cheddar cheese in the center of each rolled-out dough.
Fold the dough over the cheese and shape it into a ball again.
Second Rising:
Place the filled dough balls on a baking tray lined with greased baking paper.
Press each ball lightly with your hands to flatten slightly.
Cover and let the dough rise for another 20 minutes.
Prepare for Baking:
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
Mix the egg yolk with a bit of vegetable oil and brush it over the top of each dough ball.
