Cheesy Smoked Sausage Soup

Step 1: Brown the Sausage

• Heat a stock pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the sliced smoked sausage and brown it, stirring occasionally. Drain off any excess grease and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Vegetables

• Add the minced garlic, chopped onion, bell peppers, and celery to the pot. Sauté over medium heat until the vegetables are softened and aromatic.

• Remove the lid and add the cubed cream cheese. Stir until the cream cheese has fully melted and blended into the soup. Slowly sprinkle in the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring continuously to create a smooth, creamy consistency.

• Ladle the soup into bowls and serve hot. Pair with crusty bread or crackers for a complete meal.
