Classic Meatloaf

Shape and Bake: Press the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan, ensuring it’s firmly packed. Alternatively, shape it into a loaf shape on the baking sheet. Optional: Brush additional ketchup on top for a glaze.
Bake: Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, apply more ketchup glaze if desired. Continue baking for an additional 30 to 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) measured with an instant-read thermometer.
Rest and Serve: Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This allows juices to redistribute, enhancing moisture. Serve warm, sliced into 8 portions, alongside mashed potatoes, vegetables, or a salad.
