• 1 pound fresh peaches, cored and sliced (about 4 medium peaches)

• 3/4 cup granulated sugar

• 1/2 cup (4 ounces) unsalted butter, softened slightly

• 2 large eggs

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1/3 cup sour cream

• 1/3 cup buttermilk
