Copy Cat Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole

• 2 pounds frozen hash browns, thawed

• 1/2 cup margarine or butter, melted

• 1 can (10 1/4 ounces) cream of chicken soup

• 1 pint sour cream

• 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

• 2 cups cheddar cheese, finely grated

• 1 teaspoon salt

• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

• Set the oven to 350°F (177°C) and allow it to fully preheat before placing the casserole inside.

2. Prepare the Baking Dish:

• Lightly coat an 11 x 14-inch baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking and facilitate easy removal after baking.
