12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls or any soft slider buns work well)
2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or sliced (leftover turkey works great!)
1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
6 slices Swiss cheese (or cheddar cheese, if preferred)
1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional, for spreading)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional, for a tangy kick)
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
2. Prepare the Sliders:
Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms together. Place the bottom half of the buns in the prepared baking dish.
Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun (if using), followed by a layer of Dijon mustard (if using). This adds extra flavor and richness to the sliders.
3. Assemble the Sliders:
Layer shredded turkey evenly across the bottom buns. Then, spoon a generous amount of cranberry sauce on top of the turkey, spreading it out evenly.
