Instructions
Step 1: Sear the Beef
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Brown the Beef
Add the cubed beef to the skillet in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches). Sear the beef on all sides until browned, about 3–4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Vegetables
Sauté Onions and Garlic
In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3 minutes until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the Mushrooms
Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for 4–5 minutes until they are golden brown and their moisture has evaporated.
Step 3: Create the Sauce
