Gradually add the milk, continuing to whisk to prevent lumps. Cook the sauce, whisking constantly, until it thickens and starts to boil.
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3: Cook the Lasagna Noodles
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lasagna noodles and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay the noodles flat on a clean kitchen towel to prevent sticking.
Step 4: Assemble the Lasagna
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Spread a thin layer of the creamy white sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Place three lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the chicken filling over the noodles, followed by a layer of the creamy white sauce.
Repeat the layers: three noodles, the remaining chicken filling, and another layer of sauce.
Top with the final three noodles and the remaining white sauce. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
Step 5: Bake the Lasagna
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Let the lasagna sit for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
