Delicious Baked Sweet Potato Recipe

Mash the mixture with a fork until well combined. The texture should be slightly chunky, not entirely smooth.

In a separate bowl, combine the chickpea flour and baking powder, then sift them together to avoid lumps.

Add the chickpea flour mixture to the mashed sweet potatoes.

Stir in the nutritional yeast, paprika, ground cumin, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Refrigerate the mixture for 20 minutes to allow it to firm up, making it easier to shape into patties.

Forming and Baking the Patties

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Lightly grease a baking tray or line it with parchment paper.

Form the sweet potato mixture into patties, each weighing about 2.5oz (70g). You should get approximately 10-12 patties.

Place the patties on the prepared baking tray.

Lightly spray the patties with oil to help them crisp up in the oven.

Bake the patties in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure even browning.
