Insert cloves: Push several whole cloves into each section of the egg carton. The cloves don’t need to be packed too tightly, but spread out enough to effectively release their scent.
Place strategically: Scatter the egg carton sections around your home, especially in areas where mosquitoes are a nuisance. Common places include near windows, doors, and outdoor seating areas. If you prefer a more understated look, place the egg carton pieces in a small bowl or on a plate before laying them out.
