Mushroom and Ham Puff Pastry

Preparation of Ingredients
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Clean and slice the button mushrooms.
Finely chop the onion and garlic.
Cut the ham into small cubes.
Chop the fresh parsley.
Cooking Mushrooms and Ham
Brown the sliced ​​mushrooms in a pan with a little olive oil until golden brown. Set aside.
In the same pan, sauté the chopped onion and garlic until translucent.
Add the cooked mushrooms and diced ham to the pan.
Season with salt, pepper and chopped fresh parsley. Let simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors well.
Add the crème fraîche and mix well until all the ingredients are well coated.
Assembling the Puff Pastry
Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Spread the mushroom and ham mixture on one half of the dough, leaving a free edge for sealing.
Sprinkle the grated cheese over the filling.
Fold the other half of the puff pastry over the filling and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
Brush the surface of the puff pastry with the beaten egg to obtain a nice golden color.
