- 6 strips of bacon, cooked until they're just the right amount of crispy and chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp barbecue sauce (homemade or your favorite brand)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted for brushing
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional but adds a darling touch)
Directions
1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F and lightly greasing a baking dish just big enough to fit those snugly packed Hawaiian rolls.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, toss in your diced onions, and cook 'em until they're soft and sweet, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
