Make the Alfredo Sauce
Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 2-3 minutes. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
Combine Ingredients
Add the cooked rigatoni and sausage back into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat the pasta and sausage evenly in the sauce. Stir in the Italian seasoning and season with salt and pepper to taste.
