Pear and Almond Tart: A Decadent Dessert for Any Occasion

Assemble the Tart:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). On a lightly floured surface, roll out the chilled dough to fit a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom. Press the dough into the pan and trim any excess.
Spread the almond filling evenly over the crust.
Arrange the pear slices in a decorative pattern on top of the almond filling.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool slightly. Brush the warm apricot jam over the top of the pears to give them a beautiful glaze.
If desired, sprinkle with sliced almonds for added crunch and decoration.
