Seal the Bag
Use the provided tie to seal the roasting bag according to package instructions. Cut a few small slits in the top of the bag to allow steam to escape.
Roast the Turkey
Place the roasting pan with the turkey in the preheated oven. Roast for about 13-15 minutes per pound. For a 12-14 pound turkey, this will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; the internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the thigh.
Let it Rest
Once the turkey is done, carefully remove it from the oven and let it rest in the bag for about 20-30 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.
Carve and Serve
Carefully cut open the roasting bag (be cautious of steam). Transfer the turkey to a cutting board, carve, and serve with your favorite sides.
