Prepare the Ingredients
Make sure all your ingredients are prepped and ready to go. This dish comes together quickly, so having everything ready is key.
Cook the Shrimp
In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and season with a little salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté Aromatics
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the diced onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
