Step-by-Step Directions to Make Triple Delight Cake
Step 1: Prepare the Cake Batter
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 8 or 9-inch cake pans.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually add the flour and milk, alternating between the two, and mix until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Place the chocolate layer on your serving plate or cake stand. Spread a thin layer of whipped cream frosting on top.
Stack the vanilla layer on top of the chocolate layer and spread another layer of whipped cream.
Finally, add the fruit layer, using berry jam between the layers if desired for extra flavor.
Step 6: Frost and Decorate
Frost the entire cake with the remaining whipped cream frosting. For added decoration, top the cake with fresh berries, chocolate shavings, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
